During this session, students will apply reading, writing and math skills while actively engaging in cross-curricular activities that encompass social studies, science, technology, art, and physical activity.

Students will:

• Dive deep into the history of the Indianapolis 500

• Report on a leader in the racing industry

• Learn about the traditions of the 500 

• Study the science of racing

• Evaluate how the race impacts the economy

• Design, create, and execute a race car to compete in the HRA 500

 

At the conclusion of the session, Hamilton Ridge Academy will host the HRA 500 where students will showcase their race cars and put them to the test.
