Greetings, Hamilton Ridge Academy family! I’m Mrs. Amanda Hauser. I join HRA with over 20 years of experiences as a professional educator, homeschooling parent, blogger, writer, and children’s author. I graduated valedictorian of my class at St. Joseph’s College with a bachelors degree in elementary education, and I continued to earn a graduate degree in curriculum and instruction from Indiana Wesleyan University. I currently live in Westfield with my husband and eight children, ages 23 to 4. My oldest son just graduated from the Air Force Academy and is now a 2nd Lt. in security forces at Minot Air Force Base in North Dakota. We also have a daughter who’s a graduate student and gymnast at Central Michigan University, a son who plays football at Indiana State, a daughter at Westfield High School, a daughter at Westfield Intermediate, two daughters at Maple Glen Elementary, and one little peanut still at home with Mama! We are all actively involved in sports… everything from track to travel soccer, football to gymnastics. I live through my children’s eyes and am passionate about keeping magic a part of childhood (the premise of my Christmas children’s series). But more about that later…
